Gardaí are investigating a fire at Vernon Mount, in Douglas in Cork city. At 9.30pm on Sunday 24th July 2016 it was reported that this building was on fire.
All emergency services responded to the scene. The building was engulfed in flames and subsequently very badly damaged.
Gardaí have preserved the scene and a forensic technical examination will be carried out today.
