Court Appearance - aggravated burglary in Dardistown, Dublin on the 1/7/16

The man, 55 years, arrested last night shortly before 8.30p.m has been charged and will appear before Court Number 2, Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning, Monday 4th July, 2016 at 10.30a.m.

The man was arrested in connection with an investigation into an aggravated burglary in Dardistown, Co. Dublin that occured on Friday evening 1st July, 2016.  He was detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardaí have arrested a man, 55 years, in connection with an investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred at a house in Dardistown, Co Dublin on Friday 1st July 2016 at approximately 5pm.

A woman, owner of the property, returned home to find that there was an unknown man in her house. This man was in possession of a knife and threatened the owner. The woman fled from the house and got into her car. The man again threatened the woman. He then left the scene in her car.

Gardaí arrested the man in the Ballybough area, Dublin last night shortly before 8.30pm and is currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
