Gardai at Charleville, Co Cork are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Ballincolly, Kilmallock, Co Limerick at approximately 1.30am this morning (Monday 29th February 2016).
A male driver in his 50’s (only occupant) was fatally injured when his car collided with a ditch at the above location. His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
