Updated appeal - Shooting incident at Greenhills Road, Dublin on the 4/8/16

Gardaí in Crumlin investigating a shooting incident at a premisies on Greenhills Rd Crumlin at approximately 11.35am on the 4th August 2016 would like to make a further appeal for witnesses.

Gardaí are in particular appealing for information on a number of points:
 
1. For anyone who may have been in the Greenhills Road area of Walkinstown between 11am and 1pm and may have seen or noted the movements of a Seat Ibiza Reg No. 97 D 44770.
 
2. This car was subsequently located on Corrig Close which is only a short distance from the scene of the shooting. Did you notice the suspects leave this car and who may have got into another car.
 
3. It is believed  that there were two suspects, the first a male described as tall and wearing a grey tracksuit, the second who was driving is not yet described.
 
The injured party received a gunshot to the chest area and his condition is described as serious.

Gardaí are at the scene of in incident at a premises on Greenhills Road, Walkinstown which occurred at approx. 11:35am.

A man aged in his early 40's received an apparent gunshot wound during the incident. He has been taken to Tallaght Hospital were his condition is unknown at present.
