Gardai in Tallaght are investigating a robbery at a fast food outlet at Old Bawn Shopping centre, Tallaght on the 6th September 2015.
The incident occured when two males (40 & 23 years) entered a fast food takeaway at approximately 12.20am on Saturday the 6th Sept. One male was armed with a chainsaw (which was on) they threatened staff and ripped the till from the counter. They left the scene and ran in the direction of Bohernabreena Rd. Gardai from Tallaght and Rathfarnam responded and carried out a search of the immediate area .
Two males(40 & 23 years) were arrested and were conveyed to Tallaght Garda station where they are being detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended. The cash register and a sum of cash were recovered.
