Seán Ó hIarnain has been located safe and well. Gardaí wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter.

Gardai in Clifden wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 46 year old Seán Ó hIarnain (aka as John Hernon) missing from Carna, Co. Galway.
Seán was last seen on the morning of the 29th August when he left the Days Hotel, Santry Cross in Ballymun, Dublin, having travelled from Carna the day before. Seán is described as being 6’2" tall of broad build and with grey hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be driving a white Volvo S60 car registration 152 G 1374 and may be in the greater Dublin or Kildare area.
