Road Traffic Collision Dublin 19th October 2015

Gardaí at Clontarf are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision at Annesley Bridge Road, Dublin 3.

Shortly before 6.45am a female pedestrian aged in her 20s was struck by a car at Annesley Bridge Road. The woman was removed from the scene by ambulance to the Mater Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital. (Her condition is understood to be serious.) The driver of the car was uninjured.
The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since reopened to traffic.
