As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí have charged two men, aged 33 and 34 years in connection with burglary related offences. The men appeared before a special sitting of Dundalk District Court this morning, Sunday 22nd November 2015 at 11.30am.
Gardaí investigating a burglary, which occurred in the Carroll Mead area of Dundalk on Saturday evening 21st November 2015 at approximately 5.30pm, arrested the two men after stopping and searching the car they were travelling in. Both men were detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Following their appearance before court this morning, the two men were remanded in custody to appear at Dundalk District Court at a later date.
