Drug seizure and arrest at Citywest Avenue, Dublin on the 19/11/15

As part of a joint Operation between the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (DOCB) and Revenue & Customs a car was stopped at Citywest Avenue, Citywest Business Park, Dublin on the 19th November 2015.

During the course of a search of the car, 20 kilos of cannabis herb (pending analysis) with an approx street value of €400,000 was seized. A male (55 years) was arrested and is being detained at Clondalkin under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.

These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks.
