Court appearance dissident republican activity Sunday 22nd November 2015

A man, 54 years, is due to appear before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, Sunday 22nd November 2015 at 3pm where he will be charged.

The man was arrested on Saturday 21st November 2015 as part of an ongoing operation targeting dissident republican activity. He was detained at Portlaoise Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended.
