Drugs seizure Athboy County Meath 8th May 2015

As part of an ongoing operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the County Meath area Gardaí from Kells have seized cannabis plants with an estimated value of €360,000, pending analysis.

The seizure occurred yesterday afternoon, Friday 8th May 2015 shortly before 1pm following the planned search of a premises at Gillstown Little, Athboy, County Meath.

A man, 21 years, was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Kells Garda Station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
