Drug seizure and arrest Dublin 1st May 2015

Gardaí from Swords have arrested a male and seized a large quantity of cannabis as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the north Dublin area.

Cannabis Herb with an estimated street value of €100,000 (pending analysis) was seized when Gardaí searched a house in the Santry area this morning (1/5/2015). A 19-year-old male was arrested at the scene as part of the investigation. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Swords Garda Station. (He can be detained for up to 24 hours)
