Gardai investigating a number of robberies in the North Dublin area over the past 2 week have arrested two females.
In the early hours of the 30/01/15 gardai observed a car parked in the Cloughran area. The car was suspected of involvement in a number of robberies and attempted robberies on Off-Licences and Pharmacy’s in Ballymun and Phibsboro over the past number of weeks.
The two occupants, two females in their 20’s, were arrested at the scene and brought to Ballymun Garda Station where they were detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Both females are scheduled to appear before Court No.4, The Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate St, at 10.30am this morning charged in relation to these incidents.
