Cannabis herb seizure Dublin 2nd April 2015

As part of an ongoing investigation into Drug Trafficking and Organised Crime in the Dublin area, two vehicles were stopped in the Coolock/Santry area of Dublin by members of the newly formed Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Unit, during the course of a search of these vehicles a large amount of Cannabis Herb with a street value of half a million euros was seized.

 A total of four males(27,30,36 and 58 years) were arrested in these vehicles. The males are being detained in  Ballymun and Coolock Garda Stations under the provision of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 as amended. Follow up searches are currently underway.
 
 
These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks.
