Fatal road traffic collision on Derry Road, Raphoe, Donegal on the 29/10/14

Gardaí at Letterkenny are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Oakfield Demesne, Derry Road, Raphoe, Co Donegal at approximately 4pm this afternoon (29/10/14).

A male motorcyclist was fatally injured when his motorcycle was in collision with another vehicle at the above location. No other persons were injured.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda forensic examination and local diversions are in place.
