'Operation Fiacla' Jewellery recovered and four arrested in Co. Dublin on the 29/7/14

Gardaí have recovered jewellery and arrested four males following an operation in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, on the 29th July 2014.

The discovery was made when members of the Organised Crime Unit stopped and searched a car as part of ‘Operation Fiacla’ in Rathcoole yesterday afternoon (29/7/2014). An assortment of jewellery including watches, rings, chains, bracelets and pendants was recovered. Gardaí arrested four males at the scene. They were taken to Clondalkin Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Three males (two aged in their 20s and one 50s) appeared before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court on today’s date charged in connection with the investigation. A fourth male (50s) was released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
