Witness appeal - Serious assault investigation in Dundrum, Dublin on the 5/8/14

Gardaí have arrested a male aged in his late teens following a stabbing incident in Dundrum, Co. Dublin, on the 5th August 2014.

He was arrested this morning (7/8/2014) in the south Dublin area and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Blackrock Garda Station.

At approximately 23.15hrs on Tuesday,the 5th August a 19-year-old male was seriously injured when he was approached and stabbed a number of times by a lone male outside Dundrum Town Centre. He was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he is continuing to receive treatment.
