Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the R586 at Murragh, Enniskean, Bandon, County Cork this afternoon, Monday 11th August 2014 at approximately 3.10pm.
A 23 year old male was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving left the road. He was prononuced dead at scene. A post mortem is to take place at Cork University Hospital, date and time to be arranged.
The road is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
