Man Charged - Drug seizure and arrests at Tralee, Kerry on the 21/10/13

Gardaí at Tralee investigating the discovery of cannabis plants, on 21st October 2013, with a value in excess of €1 million, (pending analysis), have charged a second man, 29 years.

It happened this evening, 24th October 2013 with offences in relation to this investigation. He is due to appear before Dingle District Court on Friday, 25th October at 10.30am.

Gardaí at Tralee are investigating the discovery of Cannabis plants with a value in excess of €1 million.

The discovery of over 1000 plants was made following a planned search at an industrial unit in Clash, Tralee this morning, the 21st October 2013.


Two men, believed to be in their late 20's or early 30's, have been arrested at scene and are detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Tralee Garda station. The area sealed of for technical examination.
