Cannabis growhouse discovered Drogheda Co. Louth

Following on from the stop and search of a vehicle by Gardaí from the Dublin Traffic Corps in the Blanchardstown area at approximately 10pm on Friday 25th October, a house was searched in Drogheda on the morning of Saturday 26th October.

 

The search uncovered a cannabis cultivation operation, yielding a quantity of cannabis plant and herb with a potential street value (subject to analysis) of approximately €600,000.
 
Two males (25 & 35) remain in custody in Blanchardstown Garda station in connection with this incident and will appear before court tomorrow, Monday 28th October.
 

Gardaí from the DMR Traffic Corps, Garda National Drugs Unit, and Drogheda were involved in the operation.
