Gardai in Glanmire are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Dromboy South, Carrignavar, Cork on the evening of 27th March, 2013.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.30pm when three males entered the house. They tied up the sole occupant a female in her late 50s. All three males were wearing balaclavas and gloves, one was armed with a rifle.
A sum of cash was taken and the occupant of the house was uninjured but shaken.
Gardai are appealing to witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of Carrignavar between 9pm and midnight on the 27th March and saw any unusual or suspicious activity or anyone who may have any information to contact them in Cobh on 021 4908530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
