Stabbing incident in Dublin on the 19/7/13

Gardai at Pearse St. are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Aston Quay, Dublin, on Friday 19th July 2013.

At approximately 2150 hours a 37-year-old male was stabbed during an incident at the junction of Aston Quay and Price’s Lane. He was taken by ambulance to St. James’s Hospital. (His injuries are no believed to be life threatening)

Two females aged in their 30s were arrested by investigating Gardai a short time later. They were detained a Pearse St. Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. Both women have since been released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

An examination of the scene has been completed and the investigation is ongoing.
