Gardaí at Ballymoate are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Clogher Monasteraden, County Sligo, just off the R294 Boyle to Gurteen road, at approximately 6.20pm on Monday 22nd July 2013.
A male, 22 years, was the sole occupant of a tractor drawing a trailer. The male was ejected from the tractor and received fatal injuries when struck by the trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed for forensic/technical examination and local diversions are currently in place.
The deceased was removed from the scene to Sligo General Hospital, where a post mortem will be carried out in the morning, 23rd July 2013.
