Seven of the men arrested in Tallaght as part of investigations into Dissident Republican Activity in the Dublin area, on 3rd July, 2013 will appear at a sitting of the Special Criminal Court at the CCJ this evening at 6 p.m. 5th July, 2013.
The eight man has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As part of ongoing investigations into Dissident republican activity in the Dublin area members of An Garda Síochána attached to the Special Detective Unit and Crime & Security Section searched a house in the Tallaght area yesterday evening (3/7/13)
During the course of this search eight (8) men were arrested on suspicion of being members of an unlawful organisation. All eight men range in ages from their mid 20’s to 40’s and are detained at various Garda Stations in the west of the city under the provisions of Section 30 Offences against the State Act 1939.
Investigations are continuing.
