Serious Road Traffic Collision - Co Carlow 30th November 2013

Gardaí at Borris Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle serious road traffic collision which occurred on the Bagnelstown to Borris Road in an area known as Kilcummey at approximately 9.50pm last night (30/11/13)

A 22 year old male driver of the car was seriously injured when the car he was driving left the road at the above location. He was taken to hospital in Kilkenny where his condition is described as serious. Two male passengers in the car (23yrs & 24yrs) were also taken to hospital however their injuries are described as not serious.

The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and will reopen shortly.
