Robbery at Kilmoganny Post Office, Co. Kilkenny on the 23/12/13

Gardaí in Thomastown are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred at Kilmoganny Post Office on the evening of the 23rd December 2013.

At approximately 5.20pm a lone raider entered the Post Office at Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny.


He was wearing blue jeans, a hooded top and had a scarf concealing his face. He spoke with an Irish accent. He threatened the cashier with a handgun and demanded money. He escaped on foot with a quantity of cash.


Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were in the Kilmoganny area between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on the 23rd December 2013.
