Robbery at Castleblayney, Monaghan, 20th December 2013

Gardaí at Castleblayney, County Monaghan, are investigating a robbery which occurred at a Bank on the Dublin road, Castleblayney, this evening, Friday 20th December 2013, at approximately 5.05pm.

Two males, not better described, used a small white van to gain access to the premises. One of the males then entered the building and took a large amount of cash. The two males then left the scene in the white van, in the direction of Carrickmacross.

No weapons were used and no persons were injured during this incident.

 

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for information and in particular any sightings of a small white coloured van with two males onboard in the vicinity of Castleblayney/Carrickmacross/Cullaville prior to or after 5pm this evening (20/12/2013).
