Further arrest - Shooting incident in Crumlin, Dublin on the 9/10/12

Gardai at Crumlin Garda Station investigating a shooting incident on Lismore Road on the 9th October 2012 have arrested a second man in his late 20's.

The man was arrested this afternoon, the 10th October 2012.

He is detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939 at Sundrive Road Garda Station and may be detained for up to 72 hours.
 
The other 20's male remains in custody.

Gardaí at Crumlin Garda Station, investigating a shooting incident on Lismore Road on the 9th October 2012, have this afternoon arrested a man in his late 20's.

The man is detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939 at Crumlin Garda Station and may be detained for up to 72 hours.

At approximately 9 p.m. on the 9th October a 16-year-old male was shot while standing on the street outside a house on Lismore Road when a number of shots were fired from a passing motor car. The motor car is described as a black coloured saloon.

Gardai in Crumlin are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Lismore Road on the 9th October 2012.

At approximately 9 p.m. a 16-year-old male was shot while standing on the street outside a house on Lismore Road when a number of shots were fired from a passing  motor car.  The motor car is described as a black coloured saloon.

He was taken by ambulance to St. James’s Hospital.  His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is preserved pending a forensic and technical examination.
