A 20 year old male was arrested in Tallaght in the early hours of the 19th October.
The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the discharge of a firearm in the Tallaght area on the 10th and 15th October
The male is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act in Tallaght Garda station, where he can be detained for up to 72 hours.
