Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of missing person 59-year-old James (Jim) Meechan from Ashbourne Co. Meath.
Mr Meechan was last seen at approximately 9am in Ashbourne village on Tuesday 13th of November 2012. He is described as 5ft 10” in height, of average weight and build, with white/grey hair. He has a scar over his left eyebrow and speaks with a Scottish accent. When last seen he was wearing a black woollen hat and a black ski jacket with green grey stripes and reflective patches on the shoulders and wrists.
He is known to travel to the west of Ireland on occasion.
