Gardai at Tuam are investigating a fatal single vehicle road collision which occured Kildaree, Williamstown Co . Galway at approx 9.15am this morning, the 18th November 2012.
The car which was occupied by 3 people collided with a wall. The driver, a male in his early 50's, was seriously injured and was pronounced dead at Mayo General Hospital this afternoon. The other occupants, 2 females, were not seriously injured.
The area was sealed off for a forensic collision investigation and the road has since re-opened. Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093-70840.
