Fatal Road Traffic Collision Ballymote Co Sligo 9th November 2012

Gardai at Ballymote, Co Sligo are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in which a 21 year old male has died.

The two car collision occured on the N17 at Ballinacarrow, Ballymote at approx. 9am this morning the 9th Nov 2012. The two vehicles were occupied by drivers only.

The two males were brought to Sligo General where the 21 year old male was in a serious condition. The 21yr male was later pronounced dead. The other man did not suffer life threatening injuries.

The road is currently closed for Forensic collision investigations and diversions are in place.
