Cannabis plants seized in Carlow town on the 7/11/12

As part of a planned operation, Gardai seized cannabis plants during search of house in Carlow town on the 7th November 2012.

The search was carried out by members of the Carlow Drugs and Detective Units. Most of the plants were fully grown and found in the upstairs of the house. The drugs are believed to have a street value of approximately €250,000 pending analysis.


A woman in her mid 40's was arrested and is currently detained at Carlow Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
