Press briefing Dublin Castle 30th May 2012 on general road safety and events over Bank Holiday weekend

The press briefing is to advise the general public on Road Safety, Events, Traffic restrictions, Road Closures and Public Transport availability over the June Bank Holiday particularly in relation to the Bavaria Formula 1 event in Dublin city centre and Bloom in the Phoenix Park.

 
The briefing will take place in the Training Room, DMR Traffic, Dublin Castle  and will be given by Chief Superintendent Aidan Reid of the Garda National Traffic Bureau.
 
Mr Noel Brett of the Road Safety Authority  will be in attendance as well as representatives from the following organisations:
 
Dublin City Council
Dublin Bus
Veolia Transport (LUAS Operators)
Railway Procurement Agency
Slattery Associates: (Bavaria Event Management)
Bord Bia: (Bloom Organisers)
