Aggravated burglary in Bray, Wicklow on the 13/7/12

Gardaí in Bray are investigating an Aggravated burglary which occurred at a residence at Rocky Valley, Bray, Co. Wicklow between the hours of 2.30 and 3.30am this morning (13/7/12).

Three armed and masked men entered the house they tied up the two occupants (male & female) both occupants were assaulted (injuries not serious).


The three armed men left the house having taken a number of items including paintings and jewellery.
 

The raiders are described as wearing balaclavas and gloves and speaking with Dublin accents.  Two are described as being between 5’10” and 6’ tall.  The third raider is described as 6’5” tall.  They were armed with a yellow handled hatchet and crow bars.


Investigating Gardaí are anxious to speak to any person who may have seen anything unusual in the area at the specific times from 2.30am to 3.30am.  They are particularly interested in two cars that may have been at or near the scene, they are described as a Silver Fiat Punto or similar and a Silver Nissan Primara or similar.
