Ger McMahon murder investigation - Update

A 44 year old man is expected to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court at 2pm on Sunday (29/1/2012) charged in relation to the above investigation.

Gardai in Roxboro Road Garda Station investigating the murder of Ger McMahon on Lenihan Avenue on 18th January, 2012 have arrested a male(44yrs) today the 28th January 2012 in relation to this murder.

He is being is detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Roxboro Road Garda station.
