Theft of metal in Ardee, Louth on the 29/8/12

Gardai in Ardee have arrested two men in relation to the theft of metal from a premises in Ardee, Co. Louth on 29th August 2012.

Gardai in Ardee investigating the theft of metal from a premises on St John's Street Ardee on the 29th August 2012, stopped and searched a van on St John's street shortly after the incident was reported. During the course of the search Gardai recovered metal which had been earlier reported stolen. Three males(17,20 and 21yrs) were arrested in connection with the theft and detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.

 

Two males (20 & 21yrs) were charged in connection with the theft and are due to appear in Ardee District Ct on the 10th September 2012 at 10.30am.
