Gun, ammunition and cash seized in Tipperary on the 12/11/11

Gardaí at Nenagh while on mobile patrol duty yesterday morning, Saturday 12th November 2011, stopped a car on the M7 motorway at Knockalton, Co. Tipperary.

The car was searched and the occupants arrested.  During the course of these events a sawn off shotgun, ammunition and cash were seized.

All arrested persons (5 in total) are detained at Nenagh, Thurles and Templemore Garda Stations under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.  They are 3 males (19, 21, 22 years) and 2 females (19 & 20 years).
