Gardai at Roxoboro Road are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision on the N24 at Ballysimon, Limerick on the 8th November 2011.
At approximatley 9.40am a 27 year old male was seriously injured when the motorcar he was driving collided with a ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene and a post-mortem examination is due to take place at the Mid Western Regional Hospital later today.
Forensic collision investigators attended the scene and the road has since re-opened.
