Arrest in relation to alleged financial irregularities at a financial institution

As part of the ongoing investigation by Gardai from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement into alleged financial irregularities at a Financial Institution a male in his 60’s has been arrested this morning (1st November 2011).

He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended at Irishtown Garda Station.
