Suspicious death at Ballybay, Monaghan on the 20/3/11 - Post Mortem results

The Post Mortem has been concluded by the Assistant State Pathologist Dr. Michael Curtis.

As a result of the findings of the post mortem Gardai at Castleblaney are not longer treating the death as suspicious.

Gardai in Castleblaney, Monaghan are investigating the suspicious death of a male (57yrs) in a house in Ballybay, on the 20th March 2011.

The body of the deceased man was found at approx. 1.40am on the 20th March 2011 in his house on Main Streeet, Ballybay, the man was pronounced dead at 3.30am on the 20th March and his body remains at the scene.

The scene has been preserved for a Technical examination pending the arrival of the Assistant State Pathologist Dr. Curtis and the Garda Technical Bureau.
