Murder of Liam Murray between the 17 & 20/3/09 - Renewed appeal

Gardaí in Terenure are appealing for assistance from the public with regard to their ongoing investigation into the murder of Liam Murray between the 17th and 20th March 2009.

This has been an extensive investigation with in the region of 700 statements taken from witnesses, and door to door enquiries carried out. The matter is still being actively pursued by Gardaí at Terenure.  There have been no arrests to date. <_o3a_p>

The location that Liam Murray was murdered is a reasonably isolated area and any unfamiliar persons or vehicles should have been noticed.  Also there is a pub nearby and again witnesses from here may have witnessed a suspicious vehicle or person. Gardaí have attempted to identify all persons/witnesses that were in the area at the time but there remains the possibility that there are more witnesses  who have yet to come forward.  <_o3a_p>

Both Gardaí and the family of Liam Murray would hope that this renewed appeal may jog the memory of these people, and encourage them to come forward.

Gardai are  appealing to anyone who may have seen Liam  between the 17th and 20th of March 2009 or who may have been in the vicinity of Rockbrook Cottages during this period and can assist with the investigation  to  contact the incident room in Terenure on 01 6666400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
