Man found on O'Connell Street identified

The man located on O' Connell Street Lower earlier today has been identified.

No further publicity is necessary and thanks for any assistance you may have provided.

Gardaí at Store Street are seeking the public's assistance in establishing the identity a man who was found in a confused state on O’Connell Street Lower, at 3pm today, Saturday 5th March 2011.

This man appears to be middle aged. He is quiet small in height approx 4ft 10" with very short grey hair and glasses. He is wearing a very distinguishable red puffa jacket with a white hoody underneath it and grey track suit bottoms with black shoes. He also is wearing a stripy red and black Beanie hat.

There is a some possibility that his Christian name may be John.
