Gardaí in Monaghan have issued a further appeal for information in relation to a fatal road traffic collision at Lemgare , Clontibret Co Monaghan.

The collision occurred on a minor road between Drumbeo and Lemgare, Clontibret Co Monaghan. Investigating officers are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have travelled on this particular road between 2am and 7.30am this morning.

Gardai in Monaghan are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Lemgare, Clontibret Co Monaghan on the 26.06.11.
A 20 year old male was in collision with a vehicle and his body discovered by a passer by on a minor road in the area at 7.30am this morning.
The area has been sealed off for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the body remains at the scene. The state pathologist’s office has been notified. It is believed the death occurred sometime after 3am when the man was dropped off in the area by a taxi.
