Fatal traffic collision in Limerick on the 1/7/11 - Witness Appeal

Gardai in Askeaton who are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occured on the 1st July, 2011 wish to renew their appeal for witnesses.

The collision occured at Carrigeen, Croom, Co. Limerick at approximately 15.45 Hrs and involved a motor-cyclist and a car.
 
The male motorcyclist was fatally injured.
 
Gardai are appealing for any person who was travelling along the Ballingarry to Croom Road between 15.30 and 16.00 Hours on the 1st July, 2011 or anyone who witnessed this collision or who can assist with this investigation is asked to contact Askeaton Garda Station on 061 - 601630, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí at Askeaton are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 4pm this afternoon, Friday 1st July 2011, at Carrigeen, Croom, Co. Limerick.

A male motorcyclist (believed to be in his 20’s) was fatally injured after the bike he was riding collided with a car.

The driver of the car was taken to the Mid -Western Regional Hospital as a precaution.

Forensic collision investigators are at scene.
