A pedestrian in his late 30s has been fatally injured in a crash on the R183 Castleblaney to Ballybay Road in Co. Monaghan. The crash occurred at about 11.40 p.m. on the 10th of July 2011 at Killycrum, Castleblaney.
A pedestrian in his late 30s has been fatally injured in a crash on the R183 Castleblaney to Ballybay Road in Co. Monaghan. The crash occurred at about 11.40 p.m. on the 10th July 2011 at Killycrum, Castleblaney. The man, who was struck by a car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The scene of the crash is sealed off pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the crash in under investigation.
