Fatal road traffic collision – Co Limerick

Gardai at Bruff are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the 17th July 2011.

At approximately 130am a male aged 25 years was fatally injured when the motor car he was driving left the road way and entered a field on a minor road at Ballinacourty, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital for a post mortem examination.

Forensic collision investigators attended the scene and the road has since re-opened.
