Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N72 at Madlagh, Fossa, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
At approximately 7.15pm a woman aged in her 60's was fatally injured when the motor car she was travelling in collided with a van. Two other occupants of the car, a man and woman both aged in their 60's, and the driver of the van, a male aged in his 30's, were taken by Ambulance to Kerry General Hospital. Their conditions are described as serious.
Forensic collision investigators are at the scene and traffic diversions are in place.
