Witnesses sought Ballyfermot Crash 25th Dec

Gardai at Ballyfermot Garda Station are seeking witnesses to a road traffic collision on the 25th of December 2011. The crash happened on Blackditch Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 close to the junction with Oranmore Road at about 11.30 am.

The driver of a red Citreon Saxo was seriously injured when his car collided with an electricity pole.  The twenty year old man, who was on his own in the car, was taken to St James' Hospital and then transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where he remains.

A number of witnesses say a small dark coloured car was in the area at the time of the crash and Gardai would like to speak to the driver of that car.

Gardai are asking anyone who was on Blackditch Road or anyone with any information about this crash to contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200.
