Fatal road traffic collision at Straffan, Co Kildare on the 27/12/11

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Co.Kildare, which occurred shortly before 10 pm on the 27th of December 2011.

A male pedestrian in his 30's was fatally injured when he was struck by a motor car on the R403 at Baybush, Straffan, Co Kildare.
 
The female driver of the car was uninjured.
 
The road has been closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigations. Diversions are in place
